Hey everyone

Hey, this week is kinda crazy in PNG. A couple of days ago our compound, the place where we are staying was broken into. Break-ins are not uncommon here but unfortunately one of our security guys was beat up by a couple of men who broke in. He suffered a skull fracture but is recovering well. However, since the incident we've had more encounters with people intending to break in. Please pray for the recovery of Dominic (our security guy), our safety, and the safety of the two security guards who are working the night shift for us.
It's been kinda crazy because Mike Cratch, Tim Shontere, and I all had to get up the night before just to check things out at three or four in the morning. It's a little nerve-racking but I sleep with a baseball bat next to my bed just in case! We really don't want to even come close to these people but scare them away. Oh and by the way, the word in tok pisin for a theif or robber is "stealman." Pretty funny huh? That's because most of the words in this language is 80 percent English. Anyway, I'll keep you posted.
